Our representative/guide will pick you from your Hotel in Kampala early in the morning after your breakfast and immediately get on to the Lord for an amazing adventure into the capital Kampala.
You will start with the visit to the Kasubi tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the burial ground for the Kings of the Buganda Kingdom. You will then visit the Namirembe cathedral that sits on a hill overlooking into the city. The amazing colonial architectural design of this great temple that was built in 1919 makes this temple an iconic attraction in the heart of Kampala. You will soon break off for lunch at a local restaurant, trying some traditional Ugandan cuisine like matooke and fish.
Resume your tour after lunch driving to the Ugandan museum to learn about the country’s history, culture and natural heritage. You will then visit the Bahai Temple another iconic place of worship and a key tour attraction in the heart of Kampala. Visit the local markets later to get up close with the daily lives of the local people and buy some fruits.
