Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Kibale Forest – Bigodi nature walk
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet our driver guide and set off to Kibale Forest. Enjoy this scenic drive through Mityana, Mubende, and kyenjonjo with a lunch stop in Fort portal. Proceed to Kibale forest and in the evening for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary. There you will see numerous birds, monkeys, and baboons among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Primate Safari Lodge/ Kibale Forest Camp, Chimpanzee Guest House
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & departure
Wake up very early, have breakfast and with your packed lunch transfer to kanyanchu information center for registration and briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. At 8:00 am, start off a hike into the jungle forest t meets the endangered chimpanzees. Listen to the loud shouts and laughs of chimps, which give you a direction to take. Hiking time may be short or long buy you are 99.9% sure of meeting these endangered species at the end of the day. On meeting them, spend an hour in their company. Take photos, admire tier human-like characters, capture live video and enjoy this magical encounter with your lost cousins.
