Day 1: Pick from Kigali & transfer to Goma through Gisenyi
Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, meet our driver guide and drive through Kigali city to Gisenyi for lunch. Chill at the shores of Lake Kivu and later driver to Goma for an overnight stay at Mikeno Lodge/ Bukavu Tented Camp
Day 2: Nyiragongo Hiking
Wake up early, have breakfast and transfer to the starting point of Nyiragongo volcano climbing. Gather for a briefing about safety tips and guide and thereafter transfer to the hiking starting point. Hiking starts at 10:00 am and all travelers are expected to be there. Anyone left behind misses a chance to hike. The hiking time to the summit takes roughly 6-7 hours depending on the speed of the slowest person in the group. Stay overnight at the summit to experience the glowing lava lake clearly seen at night. Overnight stay at Nyiragongo Volcano Bandas.
Day 3: Descend & Departure
Wakeup on a cup of coffee, enjoy the sunrise from Nyiragongo summit and then descend to meet your driver-guide at the base of the Volcano. Drive to Kigali for your connecting flight.
