Detailed Itinerary

At 4:30 am, our driver-guide will pick you up from Kigali international airport or your hotel in Kigali and drive north-westwards to Volcanoes National park. Reach at 7:00am, and assemble at Kinigi Park headquarters for registration and briefing as well as gorilla family allocation. There you will be served with a cup of coffee and entertainment by local dancers. Trekking to see gorillas start at 8:00 am and may take as short as 30 minutes to as long as 7 hours depending on gorilla movements and location. On meeting gorillas, you will spend strictly an hour with them to learn their behaviors, take pics, and enjoy this magical encounter. Hike down to the headquarters, pick your trekking permit and transfer to Kigali airport for your return flight.
