Detailed Itinerary
Early in the morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from Masindi and transfer to the top of Murchison Falls. Experience how the strong river Nile waters squeeze through a 7-meter gorge falling 43 meters down into a devil’s cauldron. The top of the falls also offers you great views of the park and animals like elephants, lions, buffalos, Uganda kobs and giraffes among others. Thereafter, hike down and join a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy the 3 hours relaxing cruise with spectacular views of animals (hippos, elephants, buffalos, waterbuck, monitoring lizards, and crocodiles) resting lazily and feeding on the riverbanks. Also, a boat cruise is the best spot to see numerous bird species which include pied kingfisher, African skimmer, great white egret, Goliath herons, shoe billed stork, open billed stork, secretary birds, black-bellied bustards, and Abyssinia ground hornbill among others. In the evening, return to Masindi for dinner and overnight stay.
