Day 1: Pick up – transfer to QENP & Afternoon boat cruise
In the morning, our diver guide will pick you from Entebbe airport or your hotel in Entebbe and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy this 6 hours drive through Masaka with a stop at Uganda equator for photography. You will reach the park in the afternoon and go straight to kazinga channel for a boat cruise. The 3 hours cruise on the calm waters of kazinga channel is the best experience you will ever have. Enjoy great views of birds such as Hammer kops, Ibises, African kingfisher, African fish eagle, Yellow-billed stork, great cormorants, White-breasted cormorants, and goliath heron among others. You will also see animals including crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, and monitoring lizards on the riverbanks. Kazinga channel connects Lake Edward and George. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Simba safari lodge/ Uwa Bandas
Day 2: Game viewing & departure
Rise up early and go for game viewing in the open plains of the park to catch up with early risers grazing, hunting and browsing before retiring for day rests. Guided game drives through the park will offer you great views f numerous animals including herds of elephants, lions, buffalos, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs and elands among others feeding in the park. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, check out and drive back to Kampala for your connecting flight.
