Day 1: Pick up, transfer to Lake Mburo & evening boat cruise
Today, our driver-guide will pick you u from the airport or your hotel and transfer to Lake Mburo National park. Stop at Uganda Equator for photographs and lunch en route in Mbarara. Reach Lake Mburo park in the afternoon and go for a boat ride for fresh breaths and excellent views. Dinner and overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge/ Mpogo Lodge/ Arcadia Cottages
Day 2: Bird watching & evening game drives
Wake up very early, have a cup of coffee and for early birding watching in the acacia trees of Lake Mburo. The small park boosts in numerous bird species some of which are endemic to the area. Among the birds, you should expect to see include yellow-breasted Apalis, greenwood hoopoe, Brown parrot, crested francolin, Blue naped Mouse, Nubia woodpecker, African Grey hornbill, and Lilac breasted roller among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax. In the evening, drive through the park for game viewing to see wild animals feeding before retiring for night rests.
