Whenever, a lion passes by the radio caller, it notifies the travelers and researchers giving them the right direction to follow tracking these kings of the jungle.
The experimental Lion tracing experience is done in Kasenyi in the northern region of Queen Elizabeth National park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After reaching Entebbe international airport, you will meet our driver guide and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a stopover at Uganda Equator for photograph and refreshment and thereafter proceed to Mbarara for lunch. Enjoy this scenic drive through farms, banana plantations and town reaching QENP in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Ihamba Safari Lodge/ UWA Bandas
Day 2: Lion tracking & boat cruise
Wake up early and drive to kasenyi plains for experimental lion tracking. Together with a team of conservationists, and rangers, follow trails in the park following the directives of radio calls, which track the movements of lions. Spend ample time with lions; learn about their social behaviors and general lifestyles. Return to the lodge for late breakfast as you wait for a hot lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. Enjoy cruising on the calm waters of Kazinga channel, look out for birds such as Yellow-billed storks, White egrets, hammerkops, pied kingfisher, African fish eagle, African kingfisher and ibises among others spotted plus various water animals are seen resting lazily on river banks. Day 3: Ishasha tree climbing lions & departure
After a morning cup of coffee, drive to Ishasha sector, home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Look out for lions up in acacia trees just above you, take photos and enjoy this magical moment. Drive out of the park and proceed to Kampala for your connecting flight at Entebbe airport.
